As Account Manager you’ll be part of the Sales & Marketing team and will report directly to the VP Wind & Environmental, who is there to lead, support and guide you as well as anyone else.

The team exists of all Robin colleagues within the organization, cause you’ll need them in your sales cycle.

Furthermore you’ll also be working closely with the Managing Director of Scarecrow. Robin Radar and Scarecrow have joined forces to forge a brand-new offering to bird control at airports.


“I’m a customer-listening, market-understanding, sales-closing, international business-to-business development manager. I focus on the Civil Aviation segment to deliver innovative solutions to new clients.” Disaggregated down into:

  • Lead sales efforts globally with bird detection radar solutions;
  • You are able to follow up your sell. The project does not stop after the initial sell of the product. You will guide, support and consult the client towards sustainable cooperation with Robin;
  • Initiate strong internal communication lines to roll out sales projects;
  • Develop and execute a market plan for existing customers and prospects
  • Support pipeline growth and drive opportunities through in-person and virtual meetings with Airside Safety and Security managers;
  • Come up with new ideas to promote sales;
  • Help to promote the Robin Radar brand amongst potential technology partners and distribution channels;
  • Meet and exceed annual targets;
  • Traveling once or twice a month is needed for this position.


  • You have at least 5 years of experience as an international Sales or Account Manager, preferable within an aviation or technical environment;
  • You have experience with tenders, solution sales and pipeline management in designated systems;
  • You’re a trailblazer who can independently, develop unknown markets and has the patience to work on longer sales cycles;
  • You have a passion for technology and are willing to invest. Although you may not be an engineer, you are able to understand and communicate technology;
  • Excellent communication skills in English: written, verbal and presentation. Dutch/other languages is a pre.
